BEd(Prim) - Bachelor of Education (Primary)

A Bachelor of Education (Primary)Degree is part of the Direct Entry Program. The course is open to graduates holding a recognised Bachelor degree, who have completed a one-semester unit in each of English, Mathematics and a Science discipline. Graduates without this background will be required to complete such units during the course of the program.

General Requirements

  1. Hold a Bachelor degree of Macquarie University or of any other recognised university or tertiary institution
  2. obtain an aggregate of at least 68 credit points including
  3. at least 38 credit points at 200 level or above
  4. at least 18 credit points at 300 level or above
  5. at least 36 credit points provided by the School of Education including at least 15 credit points with an EDUC prefix and at least 16 credit points with a TEP prefix
  6. and completion of other specific requirements as set out in the Schedule of Undergraduate Programs including an approved coherent study at 300 level
