BEd (Sec) - Bachelor of Education (Secondary)
A Bachelor of Education (Secondary) degree is part of the Direct Entry Program. The course is open to graduates holding a recognised Bachelor degree with a major in at least one teaching subject available in Macquarie's pre-service teacher education program.
General Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor degree of Macquarie University or of any other recognised university or tertiary institution
- obtain an aggregate of at least 68 credit points including
- at least 38 credit points at 200 level or above
- at least 18 credit points at 300 level or above
- at least 36 credit points provided by the School of Education including at least 15 credit points with an EDUC prefix and at least 16 credit points with a TEP prefix
- and completion of other specific requirements as set out in the Schedule of Undergraduate Programs including an approved coherent study at 300 level
