BADipEd (Hons) - Bachelor of Arts with the Diploma of Education with honours
A student who has completed a program of study for the combined degree of Bachelor of Arts with a Diploma of Education with a high proportion of studies in Education and with outstanding merit may be awarded the BA DipEd with Honours. The combined degree may be awarded with Honours Class I or Class II Division I or Class II Division 2.
General Requirements
- Obtain an aggregate of at least 92 credit points, including
- at least 68 credit points which satisfy the requirements for one of the degrees of Bachelor listed above
- at least 12 credit points in units in teacher education with the code TEP in the Schedule of Units of Study
- at least 12 credit points in units in education with the code EDUC in the Schedule of Units of Study
- obtain at least 50 credit points in the School of Education which must include at least 38 credit points in units in education with the code EDUC in the Schedule of Units of Study; a coherent study in Education approved for the degree of Bachelor of Arts, and
- completion of other specific requirements as set out in the Schedule of Undergraduate Programs
