Admission Requirements:Candidates must possess one of the following: * a bachelor degree with a substantial practical or theoretical computing component from an Australian university (or equivalent), or * a graduate diploma in an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) discipline from an Australian university (or equivalent), or * a bachelor degree in a non-ICT discipline and at least three years' professional experience in an ICT role. Candidates seeking entry on the basis of tertiary studies alone must have attained a GPA 2.75 (out of 4.00). Candidates seeking entry on the basis of work experience must provide a detailed work summary and written references. All candidates must demonstrate strong programming skills in at least one programming language, Candidates without sufficient formal computing from either their tertiary studies or work experience may be required to complete units from the Graduate Diploma of Information Technology before being accepted into the Masters program.

    Notes

    All student programs are subject to approval by the Program Director. Candidates must maintain a GPA of 2.75 in the first 16 credit points of their program in order to progress to the remaining 16 credit points. Students who do not achieve a GPA of 2.75 in their first 16 credit points of study will not be permitted to proceed to the remaining 16 credit points. They may instead be considered for the award of the Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology, providing they have met all of the requirements for that award.
