ACCG201: Organisational Planning and Control |
The general focus of this unit is on how organisations plan and control performance. We explore how organisations establish strategies to create and sustain stakeholder value through the use of resources. We explore how, the management of stakeholder value requires the monitoring of employees' activities, determining whether the organisation is on target toward its goals, and making corrections where necessary. In particular, we consider how management accounting can support and/or direct the attainment of organisational goals.
