ANTH805: Migrant Communities

This unit examines issues surrounding immigration and migrant communities in Australia. The impact of labour migration, understanding of ethnicity, and the impact of mass immigration will be considered from both international and national perspectives. Cases will be used to evaluate government policy and the cultural politics surrounding the management and containment of human mobility.
