BIOL373: Temperate Marine Biology

This unit focuses on temperate marine habitats identifying key biological features, processes and structure. It explores the functional biology of selected invertebrate and vertebrate marine groups with comparative treatments of benthic and nektonic, planktonic and pelagic organisms. Identifies structural and functional features of key marine ecosystems, including sandy beaches, rocky shores, macroalgal habitats, benthic habitats, oceanic environments.
