CMGT100: Introducing Office Technology |
This unit introduces students to the microcomputer and its component parts, enabling them to gain experience with a variety of software applications and to understanding software applicability in terms of the needs of specific organisations. Through hands-on learning, guest speakers experienced in industry, and a visit to the business environment tailored to the specific needs of the participant group, students are given a practical introduction to the microcomputer, word processing, databases and spreadsheets.
