CMGT160: Academic and Business Communication 2 |
This unit provides a foundation for the reading and writing skills required at university. We will discuss the differences between spoken and written English. However, the main focus of the unit will be to examine various aspects of the grammar of standard written English, explore strategies for public speaking and reading and note-taking from academic texts, and look at different kinds of essay writing techniques.
