ECHH300: Early Childhood Teachers as Researchers: Critical Issues |
For honours students, this unit introduces students to critical research issues in early childhood. Emphasis will be given to evaluating the conceptual and methodological assumptions underlying the research in this area. Attention is given to the identification and framing of specific research questions and hypotheses, the conceptualisation of designs requiring qualitative and quantitative methods, and to the choice from as wide a range of methodologies as possible.
