ENGL388: The Metamorphosis of Myth |
Examines the use of classical myth in literature, art and music, and explores the use and transformations of certain themes, ideas, motifs and mythological figures in Ovid's Metamorphosis, Homer's Odyssey and selected works from the thirteenth to the twentieth century, including the drama and films of Jean Cocteau, Peter Greenaway and others.
