GSE824: Environmental Dispute Resolution

This unit introduces students to, and examines the advantages and disadvantages of, the various methods available for the resolution of environmental disputes. Students will analyse and evaluate the institutional framework within which such disputes arise. Methods of effective scoping and assessing environmental disputes will be explored. The unit focuses on mediation as the preferred method of dispute resolution.
