JPN230: Survey of Japanese Literature |
This course is designed to introduce students to the enjoyment of reading Japanese literary works as well as enhancing their understanding of some aspects of Japanese literature from a socio-cultural perspective. Children's literature in the modern period will be a prime focus of this course. Assessment is based on class participation and assignments including online quizzes, presentation, English essay and a 2 hour examination.
