JPN330: Reading in Japanese Literature |
This unit, offered in the second semester, will examine major works from various genres and periods of Japanese literature, including novels, poems, essays and films. To enhance literary analysis, attention will be given to the socio-cultural aspects of each period. Assessment is based on class participation and assignments including online quizzes, presentation, English essay and a 2 hour examination.
