MATH132: Mathematics IA (Advanced) |
The aim of this unit is to convey some of the fascination of higher-level mathematics as compared to the more prosaic treatment at high school. Within laboratory classes, scheduled during lecture times, students are introduced to computing tools used by professional mathematicians, such as Mathematica, TeX and the Internet.
