MATH237: Mathematics IIC |
Discrete mathematics: an introduction to applied algebra and number theory. MATH237 will be of particular interest to students of computing since it develops the basic tools of mathematical computer science.
Algorithms and complexity, symbolic logic, sets and relations, combinatorics, graph theory, network analysis, difference equations and generating functions, number theory, coding and encryption, finite state machines, computability.
