MHPG844: Sources and Skills in History |
The first part of this unit focuses on the location and use of original materials and on the skills necessary for the writing of history. In the second part sources are used to consider the strengths and weaknesses of accessing pictures, landscape, maps, archaeology, archives, and other evidence. Special emphasis will be placed on material evidence and on the museum as educator.
