PSYC873: Classification of Psychological Disorders |
This unit covers the history, rationale and use of classification in the diagnosis and treatment of psychological disorders and is taught via case studies covering most of the major disorder groups within DSM-IV. The syndromes and disorders covered usually include the following: organic, development, substance use, schizophrenia, delusional, mood, anxiety, somatoform, dissociative, sexual, adjustment and personality.
