Major developments in astronomical instrumentation over the last few years have heralded a spate of new discoveries and insights in the rapidly growing fields of astrophysics and cosmology. This subject will allow secondary school teachers to not only acquire new knowledge but keep up-to-date with developments in astrophysics and cosmology.
