AHPG835: Cities of the Roman East: Ephesus and Aphrodisias |
This unit will provide an in-depth study of two cities of Roman Asia Minor. The unit will cover topics such as urbanisation, Romanisation and Christianisation. Particular emphasis will be given to the development of civic institutions and architecture as well as to imperial relations with the cities.
