CHIR201: Chiropractic Principles and Skills IIA |
This unit develops a practical understanding of chiropractic peripheral joint techniques involving articulatory manoeuvres, mobilisation, manipulation and specific adjustments as well as static motion palpation. It provides a detailed study of the biomechanics and dynamics of peripheral joints as well as tuition in the testing of the muscles associated with those joints. This unit includes the early development of the psychomotor skills required to perform these techniques. The Principles component includes a fieldwork component and assignment based on a clinical experience.
