CHN115: Introductory Chinese for Background Speakers I |
This unit is intended for students who read and write Chinese well, but who need to improve their Mandarin. The unit concentrates on correct pronunciations, pinyin, Mandarin grammar, and conversation in standard Mandarin. Students who have passed HSC Chinese (Background Speakers) may not enter CHN115, but should enrol in CHN208 in their first year.
