ECGP301: Guided Practice in Early Childhood Settings 5 |
This unit will build on the knowledge and skills developed in earlier units. It will include a study of different approaches to curriculum decision making which can be applied to a variety of early childhood settings. Students will develop the skills needed to undertake planning and programming for young children.
The field experience component requires students to take substantive responsibility for children during a block period of teaching in an early childhood setting. This practical experience is followed by a period of analysis and critical reflection.
