EDUC261: Information and Communication Technologies and Education |
This unit considers the ways in which Information Communications Technology is changing our social and educational lives. It is particularly concerned with issues related to the use of technology in the classroom - the language involved, the pedagogies that are appropriate, and the new literacies being created. Practical application of these understandings are developed through a series of skills-based workshops. Students are assisted in the development of a website suitable for use in an educational context.
