JPN112: Introduction to Japanese Writing |
This unit, offered in the first half-year, is intended for students who have not previously undertaken formal study of the Japanese writing system. Students will be systematically introduced to firstly Hiragana and Katakana, then to about 200 basic Kanji usages. All students who want to go on to JPN111 Introductory Japanese II and further must take this unit. This unit is also offered in Flexible Mode.
