JPN350: Japanese Economic Documents

The aim of the unit is to familiarise students with a diversity of economic issues through the reading and analysis of a wide range of Japanese source materials. Some materials in English may be used to assist the discussion. Special attention will be given to issues related to Japan's domestic economy. This unit is designed for students who are undertaking the coherent program of study in Japanese Economy and Language. However, it is open to all students who qualify for 300-level Japanese units. It is strongly recommended that this unit be taken concurrently with JPN331 Japanese Language III (1) or JPN381 Advanced Japanese (1). Japanese native speakers may enrol in this unit.
