This unit examines global, regional and issue-specific inter-governmental organizations and their impact on a range of international issues. It considers issues common to all these organisations, such as their rights, responsibilities, membership and financing, as well as analysing their operation in specific areas, such as peace and security, the environment and law of the sea.
