RSN380: Russian Translation II |
The aim of this unit is to promote translation skills. It examines the problems of translation of various genres and literary styles. It provides practice in resolving difficulties in the areas of semantic equivalence, figurative and idiomatic expressions. Students will need to translate from English into Russian and from Russian into English.
It is offered on-campus and externally. Assessment is by class tests, assignments, and end-of-semester oral and written examinations.
