STAT321: Logistics and Project Management |
This unit consists of the two modules - Logistics, followed by Project Management. In the study of logistics, topics include: supply chain management, Push and Pull distributions, materials management, JIT and MRP methods.
Project management will include the following topics: Arrow Diagrams, Gantt Charts, Resource allocation, Critical Path Method, PERT analysis and Time-cost Tradeoffs. Practical applications will be undertaken using Microsoft Project 2003.
