TEP290: Curriculum and Teaching in the Primary School I |
This unit provides an introduction to primary teaching. The workshops focus on the development of knowledge of the six Key Learning Areas as well as key professional competencies necessary for effective teaching. Emphasis is placed upon the application of such knowledge and competencies in a practical setting. Students will therefore participate in a school experience program comprising the equivalent of five days of classroom teaching experience.
Students should make certain that, at enrolment, they complete the TEP Program Checklist.
