BEd (Sec) - Bachelor of Education (Secondary)

A Bachelor of Education (Secondary) degree is part of the Direct Entry Program. The course is open to graduates holding a recognised Bachelor degree with a major in at least one teaching subject available in Macquarie's pre-service teacher education program.

General Requirements

  1. Hold a Bachelor degree of Macquarie University or of any other recognised university or tertiary institution
  2. Minimum number of credit points: 68
  3. Maximum number of credit points at 100 level: 30
  4. Minimum number of credit points at 300 level or above: 18
  5. Minimum number of credit points in units offered by the School of Education: 36
  6. Minimum number of credit points in units with an EDUC prefix: 15
  7. Minimum number of credit points in units with a TEP prefix: 16
  8. and completion of other specific requirements as set out in the Schedule of Undergraduate Programs
