PGCertSpEd(EI) - Postgraduate Certificate in Special Education (Early Intervention)

This course will make a valuable addition to the professional preparation of educators, therapists, and consultants whose practice focuses upon young children (0-6) with disabilities and their families. This program provides an in-depth examination of research-based issues, considerations and procedures in the assessment, instructional planning and implementation for infants and preschoolers. Models for the provision of early intervention services are examined and appropriate curricula for early intervention programs are explored.

Candidates successfully completing the requirements for the Certificate may have these units credited towards the Postgraduate Diploma in Special Education and/or the Master of Special Education.

General Requirements
