There are strong links between the programs in international relations and translation and interpreting, both pedagogical and in terms of job opportunities. International organisations, a major focus of international relations study, are a major employer of graduates in translation and interpretation. The double degree in Master of Translation and Interpreting/ Master of International Relations allows graduates to acquire skills and knowledge in both areas, making them highly employable.
