AHPG811: Archaeological Practice |
D1, X1: Students complete six weeks fulltime participation in an excavation in Egypt in December and January. Numbers in this option are strictly limited and students must apply prior to enrolment.
D2, X2: A residential field school at Pompeii (five weeks in July-August)
D1, X1, D2, X2: Fieldwork in an archaeological site in Israel and report on excavation and their significance. Site and report to be negotiated with convenor. (Not available in 2007)
Students are individually responsible for meeting any tuition and residential charges and otherwise for planning and paying for travel and accommodation.
