AHPG838: The Annals of Tacitus |
This unit gives students the opportunity to make a detailed study of one of the most famous works of Roman History. Particular attention will be paid to the life and times of Tacitus himself, especially his relationship with the younger Pliny as well as his depiction of the most important members of the Julio-Claudian dynasty.
