BCA817: Probability and Distribution Theory |
This subject will introduce students to the probability and distributional theory underlying major methods in biostatistics. Topics covered will include probability definitions, random variables, discrete and continuous probability distributions, and maximum likelihood and other estimation methods. Focus will be on developing calculus-based skills to solve theoretical and practical problems.
