BIOL351: Aboriginal Resources Field Trip |
This unit consists of a two-day field trip to examine the environments and resources available in the vicinity of one or more prehistoric Aboriginal sites. Ecological and archaeological methods will be used to reconstruct the bioresources, which were utilised by Aboriginal people, and to quantify their relative importance. This will involve identification of plants and animals and palaeoecological reconstructions. A field report will form the basis of assessment.
