BIOL885: Aboriginal Impact on Australian Ecosystems |
This unit covers a range of topics relating to the impact of Aboriginal people on Australian environments both in the past and in the present. Topics will include the biological origins of the Aboriginal people; the extinction of the Australian megafauna; fire and Australian vegetation; Aboriginal conservation strategies; population increase; and palaeoenvironmental reconstructions.
