CHN330: Classical Chinese Prose and Poetry

A study of the Classical Chinese language, and prose and poetry written in Classical Chinese. The unit will be taught in Chinese and will cover the various genres of Chinese poetry and prose from the earliest times up to the beginning of the twentieth century in their historical and social context.
