COMP165: Fundamentals of Computer Science (Advanced) |
COMP165 covers the same material as COMP125 but at a more advanced level. It provides a different experience for more advanced students, but has the same assessment.
COMP165 studies programming as a systematic discipline introduces more formal software design methods. Programming skills are extended to include elementary data structures and abstract data types. There is a strong emphasis on problem solving and algorithms, including aspects of correctness, complexity and computability.
