CUL305: Ways of Reading |
This unit situates a variety of texts (including film, television, literature, news, music and so on) within specific cultural contexts and formations. It encourages students to stage critical readings of culture that negotiate local networks and global relations. The particular texts, contexts and issues that are examined will depend on the interests and expertise of the staff teaching the unit. Students should contact the unit convenor for further details of specific offerings.
