This is concerned with valuing corporate assets and how they should be financed. It is based on the theory and methods developed in investments. There is considerable emphasis on valuation techniques. Capital structure is analysed extensively for its effect on corporate value. Other topics include mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and international investment decisions.
