ECH120: Early Childhood Teachers as Researchers |
This unit aims at explaining the role of research in early childhood, understanding the common forms of research used in the field, and developing skills to evaluate the quality of research according to basic principles of design, analysis and interpretation. Students undertake a collaborative research project to gain hands on experience towards integrating research into their professional practice with young children and their families. It has a strong online component, and effective use of ICT and library resources are integrated into the unit.
