ECHH440: Planning and Designing Research in Early Childhood |
This unit will extend on the skills and concepts developed in the previous units ECHH300 and ECHH301(or equivalent). The unit will provide students with the opportunity to engage in ongoing discussion about the nature of the research process and deepen their understanding of ethical and philosophical issues arising from research. Students will critically review the recent literature relevant to their area(s) of research interest and generate a project proposal and specific research questions to be investigated in the unit, Honours Thesis:Process and Product (ECHH401). Students will deal with commonly used qualitative and quantitative research methods and procedures.
