ECHL213: Images of Childhood |
This unit examines childhood in its historical and contemporary contexts, focusing on the representation of children and childhood. It aims to cover two major areas of study: the core debate about the meaning of 'childhood' and the (re)presentation of children in still and moving imagery. It introduces methods for analysing the graphic and pictorial elements of images of the child on the page or screen. The unit's website is: http://online.mq.edu.au/pub/ECHL213/.
