ECST100: Early Childhood Studies 1 |
This unit focuses on developing students' conceptualisation of teachers and teaching through an exploration and analysis of pedagogical frameworks and curriculum content. Professional development material provides a foundation from which students will explore, challenge and extend their own practices within the workplace. The unit commences with a week-long intensive school during which students will examine key pedagogical concepts and undertake workshops to equip them with information technology and literacy skills. There will be a second intensive school at the end of semester.
