ELEC374: Computer Hardware |
A sequence of lectures and practical work on digital circuits and systems and their application throughout digital computers, from the central processing unit to remote peripherals.
Students will gain experience in using various techniques, including a PC-based development process for digital systems including programmable logic devices and a small microprocessor system (8-bit processor, digital and analogue I/O).
Please note that ELEC374 will be the last offered in 2008 as part of an expansion of the digital electronics stream of units.
