ELEC440: Topics in Telecommunications Engineering |
In this unit students receive lectures from a number of specialists in different areas of telecommunications engineering. The aim of the unit is to provide students with an overview of the advantages and limitations of a range of telecommunications technologies ranging from the physical layer to the applications layer, and an understanding of the compromises often required in making different telecommunications technologies work together in practice.
