ELS851: Professional Experience A |
On campus sessions to be held 7 March (D1 and X1), 8 August (D2 and X2) 2007
This unit is run in conjunction with ELS843 Museum Studies Special Project B. Students complete the first half of a 12-week placement (or equivalent, ie 336 hours) with an appropriate museum or workplace venue, undertaking work assigned by the employer. Enrolment in this unit requires the express permission of the unit convenor and is not usually available for students in their first semester in the program. Students need to consult with the unit convenor prior to enrolment. Students will consult with their supervisor to approve the placement and will be required to submit a project management plan, submit two progress reports and a summary of achievement at the end of the unit
