GEOS312: Invertebrate Palaeontology

Compulsory field excursion 10 to 11 March 2007

Evolution, classification, and techniques of preparation of stratigraphically important invertebrate groups, particularly brachiopods, cnidarians, echinoderms, molluscs and trilobites; particular attention is given to functional morphology. Hands on experience in identifying and collecting fossil materials.
